Tapestry Hall's heat-and-eat delivery service

Tapestry Hall's heat-and-eat meal delivery service

Our community shouldn’t be losing sleep over fear of failing to put food on the table for their families, but this is a reality in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. That’s why we are launching a Food & Beverage Delivery program at Tapestry Hall: a chef-prepared, low-cost, healthy food and beverage delivery service, created to assist families, single parents, seniors, and anyone else struggling with safe grocery accessibility. The initiative is complete with easy online ordering and free, no-contact delivery. We offer large portions that can be easily reheated, a smarter and more economical solution than the common expensive, single-serve delivery options currently available. Beer and wine are also available for delivery, at prices the same as the Beer Store and the LCBO. To give back to the community, donation options to the Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank and the Food Bank of Waterloo Region are available directly on our ordering platform. To top it off, we are donating 1,500 Big Life Journals for free to those who order kid-related menu items! This journal, valued at $20, is an asset to at-home activities and growth, assisting young people in the Creative Capital of Canada.

Donating critical masks to frontline workers

HIP Developments and partners donated 5,000 N95 masks to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital

We all have a responsibility to contribute to changing the rate of COVID-19’s spread. Focusing on the fundamentals, HIP Developments donated 5,000 N95 masks to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital this week. Given their name because of their capability to filter 95% of airborne particles, these masks save lives, and are critical garments for those on the frontlines, whose service and sacrifice we can’t express enough thanks for.

My Point of View

Happy we can help out and make life a little easier for the frontline workers and their families. After very long and important days the last thing they need to do is grocery shopping and meal preparation. Hopefully this support helps them find some down time with their families in between the amazing work they are doing caring for those in need. If you know a local hero - nominate them and we’ll make sure their fridge is full with easy reheat meals and beverages. Nominations can be sent by email to christina@theeventfirm.ca You can add a donation at checkout to help keep this program going. My Point of View

We just opened an event space and business called Tapestry Hall in The Gaslight District, Cambridge. As you can imagine, times are tough in the event business! Here’s how our great team responded: Events cancelled or postponed, food ordered. Instead of being negative and doubtful of the future, our team is stable and looking at what they can do to make a difference. They donated our food inventory to the Waterloo Region Food Bank.
